It's about to get Ugly....Chapters 5-8
As I started to read the next set of chapters I could tell things were about to get a little serious. I do have a question for the author? I'm wondering who has spread the word so quickly about King Henry VIII's intentions towards Anne? I remember in the first 4 chapters when the king and Anne were talking and he asked her to keep the matter private until he consults with his counsel. It seems like Katherine may have known even before the Henry mentioned his plans for an annulmant. I did become a bit confused on the moment her brother George came into the picture and they way he brushed her hair back with his hands as she was barely awake. Anne mentions there was a rumor of sort about brother and sister intimacy? Then she mentions George as being really close with her. Even then, she flinched when he did this. Maybe I'm stirring the pot a little more than need be. LOL Anne hit the nail on the head as she and her family arrived at King Henry's summer palace, that the king was basically buying her love. It's funny she says this because in modern day time this happens all the time. Men insecure within themselves has his eyes on a beauty and lavishes her with gift after gift. Oh I've done that before and the women lose respect for the man. However, this is King Henry VIII we are talking about. During the tudor era a way of showing love for someone is to buy their love especially if you are the King of England. And how about the king requesting Anne to serve Katherine until the matter of annulmant was taken care of. As I read on I knew Anne was not having any of this. She basically gave the king until the end of the year. LOL...can you imagine having so much hate with one another as Anne(mistress) and Katherine(current queen for now) are even in the same room let alone Anne serve her. I know women can be so vindictive sometimes. I am excited to see what happens next.

A man and his many Queens
"Lately"(originally by Stevie Wonder)
Lately I've had the strangest feeling
With no vivid reason here to find
But yet the thought of losing you been hanging
Around my mind
K-ci sing it
Far more frequently your wearing perfume
With you say the special place to go
But when I ask will you be coming back soon
You don't know never know
Oh I'm a man of many wishes
I hope my preminition misses
But what I really feel
My eyes wont let me hide
Cuz they always start to cry
Cuz this time could mean goodbye
Lately I've been staring in the mirror
And I'ts very slowly picking me apart
I've tried to tell myself I have no reason
With your heart
Now just the other night while you were sleeping
I vaguely heard you whisper someone's name
But when I ask you of the thought's your keeping
You just say nothing's changed
Well I'm a man of many wishes
I hope my premenition misses
But what I really feel
My eyes wont let me hide
Cuz they always start to cry
Cuz this time could mean goodbye
With no vivid reason here to find
But yet the thought of losing you been hanging

When someone wants something soooooo bad it takes time, patience, understanding and humility in order to fully comprehend what is actually going on. Too often we are blinded by our lust for a particular person that we fail to see what actually is in front of us. Over thinking, assumption, jealousy and betrayal usually happens in these cases. I think I can relate to Sir Thomas Wyatt because he has a wife, yet yearns for Anne. It's possible in my opinion for things like this to happen. The reason why I sympathize with Sir Wyatt is because I've been in his shoes before. Not married, but with someone else but wanting another. I'm the type of man who most of the time feel more inclined to write my feelings out instead of blurting them out.

The Clear Picture
Anne described him in detail. Basically saying he had class and style. Once she walked over to Thomas and her sister and her sister said I'll leave you two be, I was like hmmmm what's going on here. Intimate, friendly inside jokes? Those are not possible together in my opinion based on a few thing but before I say what those are my hats off to you Sarah Morris for gaining my attention on these chapters let alone the book. Okay now back our regularly scheduled program. Like I said a few sentences prior to this one, you are and cannot unequivocally have intimate, friendly inside jokes. Master Wyatt who is one of Englands greatest poets does not see it as friendly but intimate and quickly reminds Anne as explained on page 59 in chapter 3. I'm not going to give away details, but Anne was not the future queen of England for nothing. You really need to understand what is going on. Modern day Anne knows the events in history and decides to let them into play instead of stopping what will eventually happen. Let's not forget about Anne's father whom we find out Anne does not fully trust. His eyes are on wealth and not family. As for my video from one of my favorite old school r and b bands, Listen to the first part when he mentions "I have seen your face in a year, we gotta lot of catching up to do"...This is exactly what I would say to Anne if I were King Henry VIII. LOL

Man this book!!!!
In chapter 3, I began to realize a few things. In my opinion from the moment and the way Anne has acted leads me to think and now know of time travel. Count me in!!!! I know many of you would love to become connected with someone you admire. To actually see what they see, feel and hear. This lady is actually in the realm of how Anne became significant. She's in the courtyard trying to remember anything she can about King Henry VIII. Too late!!! He has listened to her talk and mumble to herself yet he finds it amusing. When she finally turns around to face the King many thoughts pour out of her mind. The first one that I can think of is she thinks he's absolutely majestic. And this is after she starts to realize the last time they saw one another. King Henry VIII wanted her to be his mistress and she was not having that. LOL Anne even mentions how handsome he is and confident he looked. And this is while she is telling herself of how big and burly he would soon be towards the end of his life. While the king is still married to Katherine, he admits his sins and realizes he wants to annul the marriage. He wants Anne to become his queen, but asks her to keep this on the hush hush until his counsel can figure out how to handel this. I found myself thinking many times if King Henry VIII was actually not a king, then would these women flaunt themselves at him so willingly? Perhaps this is because he is the king, but is this really love of one another or love of material things? For as long as I can remember from back then, when lovers were together most of them were in different countries. And you expect a handsome king as every woman thought to be faithful throughout? Not happening. I've said it before and I'll say it again, long distance relationships do not work. However, if you are the current king of England and women are litteraly throwing themselves at you, what do you do? Anne seems like she's a very strong woman with her head held up high and evidentally she does not give in so easily to the king. Maybe it could be that the saying of anyone playing hard to get intrigues the curiousity. King Henry VIII's mentality is that of a lion on the prey. It's like a game to him in which he clearly accepts the challange.

Scandilous
I think I would have a love affair with this Anne Boleyn and I've only read 2 chapters so far. Beginning with the prologue I knew this book could wind up juicy. I never thought or even heard of this happening in those times. King Henry and his many love affairs. Wow!! I'm not condoning his behavior but with only reading a few chapters I am curious as to how and why. This is not a typical book in my opinion that would catch the eye of the male population on the first try but when it's required anybody should go in with an open mind like I did. Seriously, this is how these happened in the early 1500's. I can honestly say with me being extremely hot natured I would not be caught dead in all of the layers and layers of clothes these women had to put on in order to impress a man, let alone King Henry. That would just be too uncomfortable to me. I want to point out reading so far as Sarah Morris describes in vivid detail particular things around the castle, courtyard and I'm pretty sure the best is yet to come. I did become confused or maybe I actually thought myself who was who? As she describes clearly how Anne smells to what she is wearing, to her attire. It's as if you can smell what she smells and see what she sees. I also thought she was out of her mind, but hey, some people are better thinking way out of the box. I see nothing wrong with that. To be honest what caught my eye in the first chapter was on page 14 when Anne(I hope it was her) mentioned her skin was radiant and glowed in the warmth of the day, while here most striking facial features were her long, straight nose and cupid-like, rosy-red lips. Later on a few sentences later she also mentions how her bodice(I'm calling this a body dress with layers) gripped her curves, forcing her breasts to rise and fall visibly above the neck-line. Then I found myself laughing uncontrollably because she also mentions as she was waking up she noticed the lady who I later learned to be Anne's sister Mary was out of breath from all the exertion of running to let her know the King was here. She said she nearly laughed out loud when that happened. Okay for some of you who do not get the humor, picture this. You wake up from fainting or passing out and wake up to someone breathing over you. May be just me but I pictured what she meant. For those of you who are confused, Anne passed out or was it someone else? And this is only the from reading 2 chapters. To Be Continued....

Live and Let Go
The past few weeks have been a little hectic so to say..... work has been extremely busy besides today. I know we are not suppose blog about our 3rd essay but seeing as how it's a proposal, I completely went off about....well you will have to just wait. HeHeHe...anyways I had a hard time at first coming up with an idea and grasping what we were suppose to do, but after reading chapters 7 and eight in St. Martins Guide to Writing, specifically pages 304-322 in chapter 7 and also pages 323-328. Also my good friend "P"(Pierro) explaining a little more what this was about.**************************************************************************************************
However, this is not about our 3rd essay. This is about something that I have continued to eat at me like a fat kid loves cake. Oh I mean no disrespect towards big kids, This is a quote from 50 Cent song "21 Questions" It's an analogy at something that has been bothering me for almost 2 years. I will say this...I am not a pessimist, Im optimistic. I've always believed everything would work itself out. Never mix business, money, trust together with friendship. Recipe for disaster..True Story through my eyes. I've let this affect certain things. Well at some point in your life, you realize it will not work itself out and instead of questioning why it happened and realize the cowardly way to handle things of this nature. Live and Let Go
