Plenty of Cause and Effects

Our 2nd essay is a doozy.....how ironic the topic of our essay immediately gave me an idea because of watching the movie The Dallas Buyers Club just last night. I honestly never looked at the reviews or what the movie was about other than hearing from friends how good it was. I came away impressed and amazed this movie was. You really need to see this movie. Anyway, the movie is about A.I.D.S. and how one rugged and wild cowboys quest. That is all I am going to say. In my opinion is imperative that you pay close attention to pages 409-414 in Saint Martin's Guide to Writing 10th Edition as this explains and gives different examples. Also, make sure you read the Basic Features: A well presented subject, a well supported casual analysis, an effective response to objections and alternative causes and a clear, logical organization. I never knew this particular event that happened during rise of the Dallas Buyers Club.

Challenging

I'm a little under the weather so excuse me if I ramble. I am confused on MLA/plagerism. Although I've read St. Martins Guide I'm a little perplexed about how to write. I had a hard time writing my rough draft on remembering an event. Taking a trip to my hometown to document and take pictures of historical houses, monuments and cemeteries. I actually had a pretty good time taking pictures and then looking at them. I now understand the meaning of "writers block"....LOL. I literally looked at my rough draft for an hour and did not know what to write. During my drive my mind raced of things to write about and that is what happened. I tend to forget my thoughts when it's time to write them down. True Story...

I have two tattoos. My first one was a spur of the moment tattoo, but nothing regrettable. It's the Chinese symbol for eternity. I do plan on adding to it in the near future. My other tattoo is symbolic to me because it's a cross with my two kids names on a banner wrapped around the cross. During the time i got that tattoo I had gone through a divorce and and going from being in my kids lives to seeing them once every two weeks took a toll on me. I now have my kids every weekend but I wanted them to know that no matter what happens in life I will always be in their lives.
